About our Presenter: Mr. Pezzillo's practice focuses on litigating, arbitrating and resolving claims arising from construction projects including the representation of clients in bankruptcy proceedings. His practice also involves counseling clients with regard to the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts. Mr. Pezzillo also advises clients with regard to employment and labor issues. Mr. Pezzillo's practice includes representation of clients before various administrative agencies and has represented clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New Mexico Oil Conservation Commission and the Las Vegas Air Quality Commission. Mr. Pezzillo is a frequent lecturer on topics relating to the construction industry, including payment issues, mechanic's lien claims, public contracting, and construction claims. Mr. Pezzillo has been regularly requested by both public and private entities to provide in-house lectures regarding the ever-changing Nevada construction laws. Mr. Pezzillo serves on the Government Affairs Committee of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). He is a member of the American Bar Association's Construction Industry Forum and Public Contracts Section. Mr. Pezzillo is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in the states of Nevada and New Mexico and before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal. Mr. Pezzillo also acts as a private arbitrator in general civil matters and acts as an arbitrator with the Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County, Nevada's arbitration program.
